  • Do you feel like you’re caught in the rat race, or stuck in a rut?
  • Are you bored, depressed, unmotivated?
  • Does life seems hard or hopeless?
  • Do you hear voices of fear and doubt?
  • Are you procrastinating?

These are warning signs that you need a happy soul!

When you get out of bed in the morning you have to have something to do. Somewhere to go. When we have happy souls, we’re inspired and motivated. Our days are creative, exciting, joyful and meaningful. Wouldn’t that be great?! (And good for business too!)

Victor Frankl was a psychologist from Vienna who survived the Nazi concentration camps in WW2. He found the people who survived weren’t necessarily the strongest physically - the people who survived were the ones who had a strong sense of purpose. A good reason for living.

  • their purpose was to find and reconnect with their loved one
  • their goal was to survive
  • and they did whatever they could possibly do to make it happen.

So how does this relate to us?

In a successful business you have:

  • A clear purpose
  • You set your goals &
  • You take ACTION

It’s the same with your life, you need:

  • A clear purpose
  • You set your goals &
  • You take ACTION

Think golf. PGA Purpose. Goals. Action.

  • What’s your PURPOSE?
  • What are your GOALS?
  • What ACTIONS do you need to take in order for you to achieve your goals, and create the life of your dreams?

  • to be as happy as you’d like...
  • to be as healthy as you’d like...
  • to have the kind of relationships you’d like to have with your partner, your children, your parents...

The question then becomes: how much do you want it?

  • Do you want it enough to take better care of your mental, emotional and spiritual health? To make a greater commitment to your personal development?

  • Do you want it enough to take better care of your physical health? To make more healthy choices about eating, drinking, and exercise?

  • Do you want it enough to take better care of your relationships? To make more thoughtful choices about your behaviour and how it affects others?

Think about it. If your life was a book, would it be a daring adventure? A passionate romance? Or, a cure for insomnia?

If they made a movie of your life – would you pay to see it?

If not, here’s a word of advice from the great philosopher, Eliza Doolittle:

“Move your bloomin’ arses”

Take time out to do things that are good for your soul, things like:

  • write out your goals
  • make a list of all the things you’re grateful for
  • read inspirational books
  • watch inspirational movies
  • spend time with your loved ones
  • reach out to people less fortunate than you
  • have some fun
  • FIND YOUR h-spot!
